Well Woman Complementary Health Showcase - 29th April 2018

I will be joining a group of other complementary health professionals at the Well Women Showcase on Sunday 29th April, talking about hormones, my personal experience and how Nutritional Therapy can help you to balance your hormones. See below for further details... Come along x

Are you a woman who cares about her health and wellbeing? Do you value the importance of being truly well, rather than just not ill? Would you like to get the most out of life and be the best you can possibly be? If so we’d like to extend a warm invitation to join us at Shrewsbury’s first ever “Well Woman Showcase,” We fully believe that there is a deep source of strength in women coming together. When women connect there’s a time-honoured sense of support and solidarity. Our “Well Woman Showcase,” is an event organised by women for women. It’s a supportive and informative event to raise awareness of the natural health care services and options available to women in the Shropshire and borders area, to care for your health and wellbeing simply, effectively and naturally. This event gives you the opportunity to come and relax in an informal setting and listen to local women practitioners discuss their chosen field and discover how that can support you in your day-to-day life. It also gives you the opportunity to meet other likeminded women with similar health perspectives, giving you the chance to talk openly, listen and support each other. Where else can you say, “It’s my hormones,” and be heard and understood, without judgement or prejudice? We have a wealth of knowledge and experience between us and we’d like to pass that on to you. Sharing knowledge and wisdom in this manner is an important aspect of our cultural heritage that brings us together and unites us as a community. It’s important with our busy modern day lives to make time as women to come together and share, just as our grandmothers and great grandmothers did before us and hopefully as our daughters and granddaughters will continue to do so. We start our day with the opportunity to meet and mingle. The first half of our showcase will run from approximately 11.00-12.15. There’ll then be a break, a chance to ask questions and to enjoy some of the refreshments available. Our second half will run from approximately 1.00-2.15, There’ll be time afterwards to ask questions and we’ll end the day at 2.30. Each individual showcase lasts between 10 and 15 minutes and gives you a snapshot insight in to the benefits available to you. All of our practitioners are well respected with excellent reputations, professionally qualified and recognised by a professional association. The event runs from 10.30-2.30 in the Stop Café Shop at The University Centre, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury. There’s convenient parking in Frankwell car park and disabled access. The café will be open exclusively for our use, with a delicious range of homemade, locally sourced refreshments. Tickets cost £6.00; this secures your place at the event and includes a wellbeing gift bag and entry in to our wellbeing draw. There are only 30 tickets available through advance booking.
